These terms cover your use of What's My Core Values (the “site”), a free core values test published by Leading Between The Lines. By using the site, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What the test is — and isn't

The test is a self-report tool for reflection. It asks you to choose, in each set, the statement most and least like you, and it ranks the values those choices point to. Because it reflects the priorities you recognize in yourself, it is a useful starting point for thinking — not a measure of ability, character, or worth.

It is not a clinical or psychological assessment, a diagnosis, or a substitute for professional advice. Do not use your results to make consequential medical, legal, financial, or employment decisions. If you need professional guidance, please consult a qualified professional.

Hiring and selection

This test is not designed or validated for employee selection, and we do not endorse using it to screen, rank, or make hiring or promotion decisions about candidates or employees. It is a tool for individual self-understanding and team conversation.

Acceptable use

• Use the site for your own personal, non-commercial reflection.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, submit automated or fraudulent responses, scrape it at scale, or reverse-engineer the scoring.
• Do not copy or republish the test items, value framework, or written content without permission.

Intellectual property

The value framework, the test statements, the results content, and the site design are original work owned by Leading Between The Lines. You keep your own results and may share the link to them; that is the extent of the license granted to you.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The site and your results are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Leading Between The Lines is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or reliance on your results.
